Money often tells a lot on a country. In 1944, the French money was stamped with Vichy (collaborators) insignias. The liberation of France and the invasion will change this money. GI were given their pay in Francs to be able to commerce with population.
Here is a nice display to have. A money belt (normal issued type) made by Style King in very good condition. 5 Invasion Notes, 100Fr, 50Fr, 10Fr, 5Fr and 2Fr all dated 1944 and a 1943 Lincoln Penny (see more on the item description).
