Very nice German canteen in good condition. Maker of the canteen MKL 41 and cup is marked MN 44. One repair to note on the sling which is the way it was found in Brittany, France in 2012. This type of repair is one of a kind, it seems to work very well, it might only be to reinforce the sling ? The leather is also unusual as it is has been greased since it was found.
