Early in the war, the USA were not prepared to war in the first years and a lot of equipment of ww1 were in used and issued to soldiers. 
This belt is the mounted type, really appreciate by Airborne units because of the spacer in the left side. This spacer is normally used to put the Colt magazine pouch but it was also used for different purposes such as wearing a rigger made pouch. 
In good condition, no rusty parts, no scratch, dated 1918.
