A killer item, an early type breadbag found in 2014 in the bulge, Ardennes. One thing we have never seen before, the leathers have been painted in green ! 
Camouflage purposes, to protect the leather or maybe done in factory as the thread is not green ?
Maybe but this is nevertheless very rare to find. 
There is also the name of its owner inside. Nothing is missing, with original sling. Only on leather strap of the inside is a bit damage (right). 
This item has probably lived the terrible Battle of the Bulge.
